A used car from Poland can be a good deal – but no listing photo shows accident damage, rolled-back odometers or missing paperwork. And the seller usually speaks only Polish.
From the first call with the seller to the handover. You decide how far we accompany you.

Inspection without dismantling. Hidden defects cannot be ruled out completely.
Seven photos of the front of a grey used car. This is what we look for, and how it later reads in your assessment.
01 / 07UnremarkableWe compare the gaps between wing, bumper and headlight and check colour and gloss. Everything looks even here. The listing photo looks exactly like this.
02 / 07ConspicuousRight at the edge of the headlight the paint has split. From a normal distance you hardly notice it.
03 / 07ConspicuousThere is blue paint in the crack. It does not belong to the grey factory finish and points to a repainted or replaced part.
04 / 07Check closerFine cracks along an edge often appear when there is body filler under the paint. A paint thickness reading confirms or rules this out.
05 / 07ConspicuousUntouched bolts show no tool marks. These do: the bracket or the headlight has been removed.
06 / 07Check closerManufacturer, approval mark and production date show whether the headlight is original and matches the car’s age. The housing is also cracked next to the mounting point.
07 / 07ConspicuousA mounting bracket is bent and torn. This is what metal looks like after absorbing an impact. It was neither straightened nor replaced.
The front left was damaged. Headlight and bracket had been removed, the repair shows in the paint, and a metal part underneath is still deformed.

If the car is advertised as accident-free, we advise against it. Otherwise only with a clear price reduction and after the repair has been checked on a lift.
You decide. If you wish, we ask the seller for repair invoices and negotiate the price in Polish.

Over 200 km: price on request. Distance from Trzcianka.
The listing said “accident-free”, but the bonnet had far more paint on it than from the factory. Auto Kozak sorted it out with the seller in Polish and got €1,200 off. I only went to Poland once: to collect the car.
In the photos the car looked perfect. On site they found a replaced wing and bent metal underneath. I saved myself the 900-kilometre trip, and I am still glad about that.
The report with photos and video arrived the same evening, and the advice was clear: buy. Contract, papers and transport were handled by Auto Kozak. A week later the car was outside my door.
